CCA Christmas Trees
Thank you for viewing the Classical Christmas Trees. Each year we have the privilege of decorating these wonderful trees and placing some exciting gifts under each tree. The trees are sponsored by each class and each tree has a theme incorporated in the decorations and gifts. These trees are auctioned off during our event on November 21, 2009. The trees are available for public viewing on Friday, November 20th from noon to 9:00 pm and on Saturday, November 21st from 9:00 am to noon. Come see the trees during the preview or at the event where you can perhaps be the winning bidder!
This Years Christmas Trees
"The Sweet Tree" sponsored by the Kindergarten class
This tree is filled with sweet goodies of cupcakes, ice cream cones, ribbon candy, peppermint candies, sparkling cones filled with a variety of candies, lollipops, gumdrops and gumball machines. Bright colors of red, lime green, pink, turquoise and purple cover the flocked tree to resemble icing to set the tone for the sweetness it holds. Along with this delectable tree is a fun-filled evening of 4 tickets to The Nutcracker in Spokane, dinner at a fine dining restaurant and a basket full of sweet treats to enjoy.
“Dreaming of a White Christmas” – brought to you by the 1st grade class
“Dreaming of a White Christmas” is an elegantly decorated tree that is dressed with beautiful treasures of white and silver with accents of champagne. White feathered birds, glimmering crystal ornaments, beautiful angels, white etched glass balls, and sparkling snowflakes, are just a few of the ornaments that adorn the tree . “Dreaming” is draped in luxurious silver and white gossamer fabric, and bejeweled with beaded garland. On display at the top of the tree is an unforgettable lighted white cross which makes the entire tree look just heavenly.
“Beautiful Nativity” – brought to you by the 2nd grade class
Our theme is going to be “Beautiful Nativity”. The colors are wine, gold, and cream. The 2nd grade tree will feature porcelain ornaments, and wine colored accents. There will be gold ribbon weaved throughout the branches and the message will speak of Christ's miraculous birth and of the joy only He can give. Gold stars will embellish the branches, the symbol of God leading the wise men to Jesus. Along with this beautiful tree you will receive 2 round trip airline tickets to anywhere in the Continental US.
“Wise Men Still Seek Him” – brought to you by the 3rd grade class
The 3rd grade tree is 9 1/2 ft tree with multicolored lights and jewel tones. There are bright colors of blues, gold, silver, purple, magenta, & green. The tree's theme is “Wise Men Still Seek Him” and there are magi, stars, chests of gold, silver, & precious jewelry. Baby Jesus will be the focal point of this tree. There will also be 3 life sized magi bearing gifts for the Lord Jesus and possibly gifts for the tree's purchaser!
“Starry Night” –brought to you by the 4th grade class
This beautiful tree is inspired by Vincent Van Gogh's classic impressionistic painting, "Starry Night" and it is sure to make an impression on all who gaze upon it. The ornaments and decor gradually change from deep, midnight blue on the bottom to brilliant, starry white on the top. The tree is topped with a hand-mosaic moon floating above clouds and is encompassed by hand-decorated ornaments that are reminiscent of Van Gogh's masterful work. The tree is accompanied by a cozy bistro set lit by a custom designer chandelier that will bring one-of-a-kind beauty to your home. Also included is an overnight stay at the Hotel Lusso in Spokane.
“Boutique Bliss” – brought to you by the 5th grade class
Pink abounds with polka dot splashes throughout this sparkling beauty. Inspired by the boutiques of France and designed with all things "girlie." Lipstick, purses, and shoes (Oh, my!) are strung throughout the tree. With touches of glittering butterflies, beautiful crystals, pearls, and many handmade ornaments this tree is sure to add charm and the spirit of France to your home this season. Many gifts surround this tree that are sure to please any lady.
Classical Christmas Wreaths: Don’t’ forget our wreaths!! We have all sizes, color schemes; some lighted, and all very beautifully created by your Christmas Tree Committee. They will be available at the Preview and at our wonderful event.
"All Things Christmas" - Brought to you by the 6th grade
Under this traditional Classic Christmas Tree you will find everything your children ever wanted for Christmas. Classic elegant red and gold ornaments adorn this sparkling Christmas Tree. Reindeer dance while the stars sparkle creating a most elegant memory of past Christmases bringing out the child in all of us. But don't forget to look under the tree, and see all the amazing toys awaiting your children: (1) night stay at the Hayden Holiday Inn Express complete with passes to Raptor Reef, "Harley Davidson" kick scooter, trick bike and helmet, skateboard, large teddy bear, porcelain dolls, stilts, crafts, games for all ages, toddler toys, basketball backboard and ball, and many many more.
“Old Glory” – brought to you by the 7th grade class
Celebrate Christ in America this Christmas with our Independence day themed tree. “Old Glory” confidently displays the colors of our Nation’s flag; bold red, pure white and noble blue, with a touch of whimsy from Uncle Sam. This patriotic tree boasts everything you need to enjoy the 4th of July Holiday: a BBQ, Ice cream maker, picnic basket, a Lake Coeur d’Alene Cruise and a special surprise gift.
“Walking in a winter wonderland”-brought to you by the 8th grade class.
The name of this Christmas carol says it all! You will be walking in a winter wonderland with your new snowshoes, only to come home to sit by the fireplace and this stunning 9 foot Christmas tree adorned with sleds, deer, bells, snowy ornaments and lodge décor. Sit by the fire and curl up with a blanket & book to enjoy your treat from the old fashioned popcorn popper. The beauty and nostalgia of this tree will warm you heart for a lifetime. This tree is accompanied with championship skating tickets, fireplace, snowshoes, popcorn popper and beautiful baskets of warm attire to curl up in.
“Chocolate Decadence” – brought to you by the 9th grade class
The 9th grade "Chocolate Decadence" tree will delight the lucky owner with sights, smells, and tastes! In dark brown, brushed copper, gold, amber and ivory, this tree is elegantly decorated with glass ornaments, velvet, silk and organza ribbon and, of course, thousands of calories from three of our favorite food groups: Dark, Milk, and White Chocolate! Dripping with tempters such as Godiva, Ghirardelli, Lindt, Hershey, Dove and mouth-watering truffles from Coeur d' Alene Chocolates, this tree is quite possibly even dangerous to walk past! Irresistible for serious chocolate lovers, this tree actually has enough chocolate to share! A beautiful Chocolate Lover's Basket and a Year's Supply of Chocolates, both from Coeur d' Alene Chocolates, are just a few of the treats and surprises you'll find under this tree. Oh! And let's not forget the Chocolate Massage from Marci Wolfe at Therapeutic Massage and Day Spa!
“Vintage Golf” – brought to you by the 10th grade class
This tree is inspired by Old World golf. Antique colors throughout, with Brass, Dark Brown, Cream, gold, and a hint of Chartreuse Green. Dark Brown old world style golf ornaments along with elegant sparkly gold, brass, and chartreuse green ornaments will be scattered throughout. There will be a few golf clubs on the tree, but you’ll have to look for them. It will all tie together with pheasant feathers that encompass all the colors , mixed in with Dark Brown velvet, cream and gold. This tree will come with modern day golf paraphernalia. It will surprise you how elegant golf can be.
“A Classic Country Christmas” – brought to you by the 11th & 12th grade classes
This Charming tree, decorated in the traditional colors of red, green, and silver, is sure to bring the wonders of the outdoors into your home or business. Adorned with bird houses, silver acorns, snowmen and bells: this 7 ½ foot beauty reminds us of the simplicity and coziness of a country Christmas. A roaring fire, cups of hot chocolate and newly fallen snow would go perfectly with the tree’s many berry, snowflake and natural ornaments. To truly experience the tranquility of the season, a Classic Country Christmas includes a weekend away for 2 in picturesque Leavenworth, WA.
